Rocky Road Kennels recently accomplished a most desirable breeding that produced 9 sturdy English setter pups of eye-popping lineage.

The sire is Long Gone Boston, New York Grouse Champion, 2009. Boston is the son of 8x Champion / 4x RU Champion Long Gone Agnes and Grand National Grouse Champion and Grouse and Woodcock Invitational Champion 6x Champion Cracklin Tail Speed. While proven field champions, both of these setters were, above all, grouse hunters. Boston is a big tri-colored dog.

The dam is Hornby Hill Daisy. Daisy is a daughter of legendary Champion Grid Iron, recently nominated for the Field trial Hall of Fame with 37 places in competition, and Grouse Ridge Chrissie, daughter to National Champion Grouse Ridge Storm. Daisy has always hunted, with a bird-finding genius, unflagging energy, muscular 50 pound size, and a willingness to flatten the most challenging brush.

Our pups will be available on 17 October. Puppy shots will have been given. They will have been gun-fire conditioned and well socialized. This is an enviable opportunity to own a classic setter. The price for each puppy is $700. These are hunting dogs, and we will part with them only to hunters.
